I was hoping my first Dreamwidth post would be beautiful and epic, however we can all agree that's not going to be the case.
I'm actually avoiding putting makeup and my work clothes on because HNNGGHH. I hate closing shifts and I hate them with a passion.

I work at Petco, and closing shifts are like the asshole of the grooming body. You don't get any dogs, so you never get to make commission, and you always end up playing maid to all your coworkers.
And thanks to the glorious Holidays, we're open until nine!!1
I know - I shouldn't complain. I'm lucky I have a job and I am really happy to be working. And if they're going to pay me to sit on my ass for seven hours then who am I to complain. :[

...Okay yeah should probably hop on to that "getting ready" business.

I hope your evening at work went well! ♥ I honestly can't believe you guys were open until nine though, what kind of dog is going to need a Christmas grooming that late at night? :|||||||

RIGHT??
We were open Christmas Eve too until six. We had one dog. all day. And like the store was busy but the grooming salon was SO DEAD all of us got sent home early. I DON'T UNDERSTAND.
